Joseph is an "'80s kid" and began taking piano lessons around ten years old. His love of music encouraged him to do well and he has thus obtained a fairly good understanding of music.

Joseph plays keyboards (and keytar) which create sounds such as a B3 organ, piano, horn section, and stringed instruments.
